Architecture is both an art form and a service. Laura Culpepper’s design philosophy stems from her passion for making things beautiful, and from her commitment to making good design available to people of all walks of life. By keeping her firm intentionally small, she remains personally involved in every project, and is able to oversee the design process to completion.
The goal on every project is for each building to clearly communicate its purpose, and to express the image that best defines each client. Extreme importance is placed on proportion, visual balance, architectural detail, and integrity of style. Small projects are given as much attention as large projects, and by prioritizing function, life-safety and aesthetics – each project becomes a means to improve the quality of life for building occupants, families and communities.
